Anyway, I appeared in Howard County District Court for a young lady facing suspension of her driver’s license for another in a string of speeding tickets. The officer testified about the stop and his certification for the radar unit. It turns out that the unit he had records for and said he was using was NOT the same unit for which he was certified. The officer could not satisfy the Judge with his explanation. Judgment for the Defendant.
My client was shocked and I have to admit that I too was a bit surprised. You never know. Until next time….
